The former chairperson of ANC youth league in Limpopo, Lehlogonolo Masoga and his allies will reconvene another conference to elect another leadership that will take over officially from them.
The conference is set to take place on the 07-08 August 2010 at Sekhukhune region and the decision was taken by the Provincial Executive Council (PEC).
During a press conference held in Polokwane to outline the outcomes of the National Disciplinary Committee (NDC) that expelled Masoga on Monday, he(Masoga) said the PEC noted with displeasure that the reconvening of the disbanded Makhado Conference has been delayed for far too long due to the ensuring disciplinary processes.

“To this effect, the PEC resolved to reconvene the adjourned Makhado conference and we are not expecting what has transpired at Makhado to replicate again and we have a better plan to avoid them” he said.
The ANC Youth League PEC held its special meeting on the 20th July to reflect on the state of the organization and formulate a political perspective in response to the outcomes of the so called “NDC Kangaroo court-style hearings.
Masoga was expelled from the youth league on Monday after he was found guilty of bringing the party into dispute and according to the PEC, the spurious charges leveled against Masoga and the other three PEC members emanate from the adjourned Makhado conference.
The PEC also noted with regret the appealing political state characterized by the worst form of political opportunism and thuggery hell-bent to erode the moral fibre of the organization.
According to Masoga, the PEC has sufficient evidence to prove that indeed the conference that is alleged to have taken place after adjournment by the PEC was unlawful while hearing was were also conducted prematurely before concluding the political proceed with the ANC.
“I was never offered an opportunity to present my side of the story either through personally leading evidence or calling witness and my representative was also unceremoniously dismissed from the hearings for valid reasons upon which the hearings took place with neither me nor my representatives” Masoga said.

An agreement was reached between the ANC and ANCYL officials that the issue of the DC hearings should be subjected to an ANC internal process
“ We remain confident that when the right time comes, the ANC will act decisively to put to an end the political dram taking placed in our organization and our ANC has no history of failing it’s people and its restrained intervention must never be confused by charlatans to amount to failure to discharge its responsibilities” Masoga affirmed.
