The Premier for Limpopo, Cassel Mathale is calling upon the people to rebuild and build public infrastructure and expand the provision of essential basic necessities to the people.
He was speaking at Ga-Molepo, Tshebela Village on Mandela day as part of 67 minutes doing community services and he said they will ensure that every child has access to education and explores all opportunities to realize his/her ambitions.
“We must use this day to invent a sense of patriotism amongst ourselves and teach each other one of the most important lessons of life that no person can succeed without the assistance of others” he said.

Mathale who was sandwiched by the MEC for local government and housing, Soviet Lekganyane further indicated that they are meeting during Mandela Day to embark on the community assignment and they want to ensure that they leave a mark that will be remembered by many generations to come.
Premier Mathale and MEC Lekganyane constructed an RDP house for Rebbeca Molepo (27) and other 66 houses, planted a further 67 trees throughout the village while others like the local indunas and government officials painted another 67 houses.
Mathale said they have an obligation to further this cause beyond today, they want to accelerate the wheels of service delivery to touch every individual.
Meanwhile, the Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture donated its 67 minutes for Dr. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, by spending quality time with the children at the Polokwane Place of Safety.
The MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Joyce Mashamba and Departmental Staff Members had the opportunity to visit the facility and interacted with the children in the form of a “Birthday party for Madiba” celebration, complete with birthday cake, sweets and jumping castle.

The Departmental Sports Teams also played games against the children and a donation of clothes, carefully collected with love and care by the staff and learners of Oosskool in Polokwane completed the celebrations.
